It was sad to hear that The Lost Penguin has closed. We were in Bonaire on our honeymoon last May and made many visits during that week to The Lost Penguin for lunch. You guys had THE BEST fish sandwich around, and the best we have ever had. You were both soo hospitable and told us the ins and outs of the island. We really appreciate your help! And while we will miss you guys and the fish sandwich on our next visit, we wish you the best of luck!!

Hi Ton & Renota
Coming back in February, would love to meet up. Just sent a personal mail to you with the dates etc.
Hope to see you then, let us know if you're on the Island.

Ton and Renota,

I am happy you sold your restaurant so you can now relax. But it is sad for us well. The lost penquin is our favorite breakfast restaurant on the island. The kids love the eggs benedict (cant get them anywhere else in the world as good!) and the eggs and the pancakes. If fact, all of the food was great.

And Renota, You were always so king to me and my family. On one occation many years ago my little boy was sick with fever, the shops were closed, but you had aspirin! Well never forget you guys.

We're the fish people that visit you guys every December. Yes, we are returning again this year. I think this will be our 10th year in a row and of course all 4 years we loved the Lost Penguin. We will miss you both and hope that should you open another restaurant, you will keep us in mind. Enjoy your time off...

Ton and Renota,
We are so sad that you have found it necessary to close the Penguin. However, as we are also retired and enjoying this chapter in our lives we wish you all the best in wherever your next adventure brings.
We are so glad that this past August we were able to bring our daughter, Kathleen and the 4 little ones to enjoy breakfast at the Penguin.
Our two year old, TJ, still talks about the penquins which he saw in the restaurant.
We will certainly miss your friendly smiles and warm "welcome back" each time we arrived at the Lost Penguin.
Thanks for the memories.

Dear Ton and Renota, The entire Levin family will miss the sheer joy of eating at the Lost Penguin as we return to Bonaire through out the year. (What great Eggs Benedict) While we have for more than 30 years found Bonaire as home, in recent years knowing we would be enjoying pleasant meals at the Lost Penguin has been one of things that made coming back to Bonaire such fun. Of even more importance was getting to visit with both of you. I hope we will continue to see you at the great Valentines celebration and hopefully in what ever you choose to do next. LARRY & CATHY

Ton and Renota, so glad to hear that you'll still be around to say hi to when we visit! And enjoy your mountain trekking! Now the whole no-more-Lost-Penguin-fabulous-food-and-family-friendly-atmosphere thing... THAT will definitely be missed! It's hard to make such a positive influence on the world as you two have done. It's amazing how only 2 people working in a small corner of the planet, doing what they do incredibly well, can have such a far reaching positive impact on so many (seriously! And that's not just the eggs benedict talking) Thank you!

We are so glad we were able to have your amazing hamburgers 3 weeks ago while on the island. Sounds like the lost penguin has found a way to go, and we wish you the best of everything.
